Dr Leon Creaney

Dr Leon Creaney is a Consultant in Sport & Exercise Medicine.

His NHS training included rotations in Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Medicine, Intensive Care, A&E, Paediatrics and General Practice.

He completed a dedicated rotation in London for a further 3 years on the first NHS Sport & Exercise Medicine scheme.

He worked at the Royal London Hospital, Olympic Medical Institute, DMRC Headley Court (Army) and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore.

Following this period of additional training he spent 6 months working as a Consultant in SEM in Sheffield. He has worked in NHS musculoskeletal medicine and continues to work in Elite Sports Medicine with UK Athletics English Institute of Sport (EIS) and several Football and Rugby Teams. He has been working in London as a Consultant since August 2009 at the BUPA Barbican Clinic and for the Army. He will be joining the Bridgewater Hospital in February 2011.
