I am a consultant dermatologist with a special interest in education.
I undertook general medical training in Glasgow and Manchester. My specialist dermatology training was in London, including 2 ½ years at St John’s institute of Dermatology at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Trust. I continued to work there at consultant level before moving to St Mary’s hospital, Imperial College NHS Trust, London, where my role included being skin cancer lead. On return to Manchester I took a consultant post at the regional dermatology centre in Salford Royal- a position which includes a strong education element.
My private practice is at the Bridgewater Hospital, Princess Road, Manchester where I see patients with many types of skin complaints, including those with skin cancer, acne, eczema and urticaria.
