Graduating from Nottingham and completing house jobs, Dr Jackson has since returned to her hometown of Manchester. She spent several years in general medical jobs before joining the Manchester Radiology Training Scheme.
During radiology training, Dr Jackson learnt the technique of musculo-skeletal ultrasound at Leeds, before completing a clinical fellowship in musculo-skeletal radiology at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford which is one of the major recognised national centres for musculo-skeletal training.
Dr Jackson was appointed as a consultant in 2001 and has a clinical commitment to all facts of skeletal imaging. Her aim is to increase the availability of musculo-skeletal ultrasound in the Manchester area.
