Mr Shah is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Manchester Royal Infirmary. He has undergone postgraduate training in both India and UK. He trained in Manchester and Southampton. He has obtained subspecialty experience in Lower Limb Arthroplasty, Hip Resurfacing and Hip Revision Surgery. He also has interest in Trauma. He went on AO Fellowship to Germany in 1996. He was appointed to his current Consultant post in 2003. His special interest is Lower Limb Arthroplasty, Knee Arthroscopy and Trauma. He has particular interest in Hip Resurfacing for the management of hip osteoarthritis in young people. He is also actively involved in teaching of medical students at Manchester University.
