Payment Process For Insured Patients

• You must obtain a referral by your GP.
• Call your insurance company to check the condition /treatment is covered under the terms of your policy.
• Advise them you wish to book into the Bridgewater Hospital.
• Your insurance company will give you an authorisation number.
• Call our bookings team and request a consultation appointment.
• You will receive a letter of authority from your insurers to attend the initial consultation. You must bring this with you.
• The consultation will be carried out at no cost to you.
• If further investigation, onward referral or treatment is required we will assist you in obtaining the appropriate authorisation from your insurers.
• Any costs for your consultation or treatment will be paid directly by your insurers to the Bridgewater Hospital.
