Egg replacement is an act of outstanding altruism - the process involves great commitment by the donor. Egg donors are scarce and we can offer this service only if the couple is able to identify a woman who is able to donate directly to them or on their behalf.

Egg donation is necessary when a woman fails to respond to stimulation, if her ovaries are absent or have ceased to function, or if she is a known carrier of a serious genetic disorder.

Egg donors are healthy female volunteers under 35 years of age who have been screened for infections including syphilis, gonorrhoea, cytomegalovirus, hepatitis and HIV and for cystic fibrosis. The donated eggs are fertilised with your partner's semen and the resulting embryos transferred into your uterus in either a natural or hormone replacement cycle.
