Your Face & Neck Lift Consultation

Your free consultation will be with one of our experienced patient co-ordinators and cosmetic nurses. They will arrange an appointment for you to meet with your Surgeon before your face and neck lift who will explain what option is best for your requirements and how you can expect to look afterwards.

The Procedure for a Face & Neck Lift

Face and neck lift surgery is performed under general anaesthetic, which means that you will be asleep throughout the procedure and will feel no pain. An overnight stay in the hospital is required. The face and neck lift procedure involves retracting and tightening the skin to achieve a smoother and more defined contour for your face, jaw line and neck. Skin type, skin elasticity, individual healing and ethnicity all influence the outcome of your procedure.

Recovery from a Face & Neck Lift

You will need to rest after your face and neck lift procedure until the effects of the anaesthetic have passed, and general painkillers can be used if needed. You will need to make arrangements to be driven home after face and neck lift surgery. Before you leave, your cosmetic nurse will advise you about your healing time and will arrange a follow-up appointment for you. This is usually about two weeks after your face lift procedure.
