A gastric balloon is a soft, silicone sack that is inserted into the stomach and filled with sterile saline to help with weight loss. With the gastric balloon you will have a feeling of satiety, or lack of hunger.
The gastric balloon is then removed after six months by draining the saline then removing the balloon.
