Growth & Reassurance Scan

We also offer a number of obstetric ultrasound packages to help you to be assured of your baby's well being. We can check your baby's growth and well being in the weeks between the 20 week scan and the birth of the baby, when you are not normally offered an NHS scan. 28 to 32 weeks is an ideal age to come and have a growth and reassurance scan. During the growth scan, the baby’s head, abdomen and limbs will be measured. The Sonographer should be able to give you a rough guidance as to how big your baby will be at birth. We will note your baby’s movements and will study amount of amniotic fluid and the placement of the placenta. The blood vessels in the umbilical cord will also be studied. It is usually still possible to determine the sex of your baby at this point, but it does become more difficult as you approach the end of your pregnancy. Include ultrasound scan, report and supply of 2D black and white prints.

A report and 2 thermal 2D black and white prints are included.
