Your suitability for nose reshaping procedures will be discussed with your Surgeon during your rhinoplasty consultation. We have performed many rhinoplasty procedures at Bridgewater Hospital, and have found that the most successful rhinoplasty results include those who:

Your Rhinoplasty Consultation

Your rhinoplasty consultation is free of charge, and will be conducted with one of our experienced patient co-ordinators and cosmetic nurses. They will explain the rhinoplasty procedure in detail and discuss your expectations with you, as well as the outcome of your nose reshaping procedure. They will then arrange an appointment for you to meet with your Surgeon prior to your rhinoplasty procedure, who will discuss your expectations of how you will look following your nose reshaping surgery, and explain which rhinoplasty option is best suited to your requirements. 

The Procedure for Rhinoplasty

Nose reshaping rhinoplasty procedures are carried out for either aesthetic or reconstructive purposes, and performed under general anaesthetic, which means you are asleep throughout the rhinoplasty surgery. Depending on the degree of nose reshaping required, the rhinoplasty procedure typically requires one to two hours in surgery. This can be an open or closed procedure depending on each patient's needs and desires, and on the amount of nose reshaping required.

Recovery from Rhinoplasty

Patients will require rest until the effects of the general anaesthetic have passed, and need to arrange to be driven home following the rhinoplasty procedure. If there is any pain after rhinoplasty, painkillers may be used. Your cosmetic nurse will inform you of your healing time and arrange a follow-up appointment with your Surgeon before you leave. This follow-up is typically conducted two weeks following the rhinoplasty procedure.
