Our Pregnancy Clinic covers all aspects of your pregnancy and beyond.

We offer a private midwife service which goes beyond any midwife care you will ever experience. This unique service is delivered by My Own Midwife who are resident at the Bridgewater Hospital, although home visits are also available. They offer antenatal and postnatal care which includes birth preparation, parenting and breastfeeding classes. These are offered as group sessions or on an individual basis.

They have immediate access to other healthcare professionals such as Consultant Obstetricians, Consultant Paediatricians and Private Health Visitors, should a referral be necessary.

We also offer a full pregnancy scan service from an early viability scan – as early as 6 weeks, right through to reassurance scans at 42 weeks and lots of options in between.

We are the only clinic outside of London who offer same day results for the Nuchal Translucency combined scan to screen for Downs Syndrome.

We also offer Amniocentesis and CSV (Chorionic Villus Sampling). These are performed by Consultant Obstetrician and Fetal Medicine Specialist, Dr Phil Bullen who runs regular clinics at the Bridgewater.
